A somewhat calmer species of African Cichlid from Lake Malawi, the Sulfur Head Peacock is so named for the orange stripe extending up its forehead, set against a dark grey colored body.
Growing to approximately 5 inches, they can be housed with a general selection of African cichlids; as long as the fish are of a similar size and disposition.
Aim to feed a balanced diet of flake, dried, live and frozen foods to maintain their health and coloration, with an emphasis on protein.
